I’ve been without a point and shoot for ages now, finding myself either without a camera on me, or lugging around a big Canon. So i was pretty happy to stumble across a bargain the other day.

A Leica D-LUX 2 for a hundred bucks! Full manual controls and the prestigious red dot for little over the price of a tank of gas. I have a nice little leather case on the way, so i’ll have no excuse not to shoot something every single day.

Heitor Alves pulls a skateboard inspired pop-shuvit Round 5 of the Quiksilver Pro at Snapper Rocks on Tuesday 28th of February. Heitor was knocked out of the round by Local shredder Josh Kerr.

Thank you David Magahy for the use of the 600mm lens and the good company. Note to self, pack sunscreen when going to shoot a day of surfing, the top of my feet are still sunburnt.

Sneak and Destroy @ Sneaker Freaker.

Recently i did a shoot for Mark & Rob from Sneak & Destroy for the Best of the Best article in Sneaker Freaker. Check out pages 34 & 35..

The brief was to recreate a scene from the T.V. show Lost, while focusing on the Nike S.B. Blazers from the Lost pack. We also got to have a few laughs in the process.

As one of the official photographers for the Pan Pacific Masters Games, i shot the Moto-X on the weekend. It was both hot and dusty, but that didn’t deter the hundred odd riders from giving it their all in a great days racing.
